To address these issues, we decided to build a new SaaS platform from the ground up. Our goal was to create a user-centric product that delivered exceptional value and improved usability. This new platform aimed to:
Provide a Superior User Experience: We redesigned the interface to be clean, modern, and highly intuitive, enabling users to accomplish tasks effortlessly.
Boost Customer Retention: By improving the platform’s usability and feature set, we aimed to increase customer satisfaction and reduce churn.
Enhance Competitive Edge: The new platform was designed to incorporate the latest industry trends and user expectations, positioning Intel 471 as a market leader.

Ideation
Concept explorations
As a UX Engineer, I led the development process from ideation. With limited availability from our Product Managers, I assumed dual roles, spearheading both design and product perspectives. This allowed me to take charge of the project's direction and ensure a cohesive user experience throughout.
Defined project objectives, planned timelines, and closed the gap between UX and Engineering.
Facilitated design workshops and ideation sessions.
Simplified and clarified product UX/UI to exceed user expectations.
Played a pivotal role in elevating and maintaining our design system by crafting responsive components, defining UI guidelines, and creating versatile variants. These initiatives were key to ensuring brand consistency, enhancing user experience, and driving scalable design solutions.
Collaborated with cross-functional stakeholders to meet business goals.
My Role
After extensive qualitative and quantitative research, the core issues we identified were:
User Interface (UI) Limitations: The existing UI was outdated, failing to provide an intuitive and visually appealing user experience. This made the platform difficult to navigate, especially for new users.
Lack of Intuitive Design: Competitors offered more user-friendly interfaces, which were easier to use and required less training, putting Intel 471 at a disadvantage.
Inefficient User Experience (UX): Feedback from users indicated that the overall user experience was clunky and inefficient, hindering productivity and user satisfaction.

Background
During my tenure at Intel 471, the company faced a pressing challenge: customer attrition due to superior competitor platforms. Our competitors offered more modern, intuitive SaaS solutions that were gaining traction among our customer base.
Intel 471's existing platform was not meeting user expectations in terms of UI and UX, leading to dissatisfaction and loss of market share.
